Consent, minimization, retention, and subscriber rights aren’t bolted on — they’re built into how NotifyPress collects and stores subscriber data.
Explicit consent, every time
Subscribers only join through the browser's native permission prompt — no dark patterns, no pre-checked boxes. Each subscriber row records when and how consent was granted.
Self-service erasure
Subscribers can delete their own data directly from the widget with a "Delete my data" action, separate from unsubscribing — no need to contact anyone.
Data minimization
We only store what's needed to deliver and segment notifications. City and country are derived in the browser, not tracked via a server-side IP lookup.
Bounded retention
Engagement events are automatically purged after 18 months, and deactivated subscribers after 12 months of inactivity — nothing is kept indefinitely by default.
EU-based hosting
NotifyPress infrastructure runs in the EU.
Full audience control
You can view, tag, segment, and delete any individual subscriber from your dashboard at any time.
